Queen Antija, Ahn-TEE-ha- Head of the whole country. Antija makes most of the decisions concerning economy, education, war, etc. She is very bold and often helps lead troups into battle. She is never careless, though, and thinks all things through before acting. A very learned woman, Antija chooses to spend much of her time reading. She is fair and honorable, yet loving.

King Tontis, Tohn-TEES- A brave, smart man. Tontis believes in equality and fairness, so takes time to meet people of all different classes in order to improve their lifestyles. He is a very good ruler.

Duke Lyndun, Lin-DOON- Lyndun, though head of the second most powerful family in the realm, isn't all that important. That's for the best, since he's not extremely bright, either. Lyndun cares for money and his wife, but not much more.

Duchess Alista, Ah-LEE-stah- The palace "Matchmaker". Alista is very pretty, but not exactly a smart person. She isn't concerned with anything except for looking nice and carrying out her job. Sometimes she gets a bit too caught up with matchmaking and gets people angry.

Prince Contav, Con-TAV- Son of Antija and Lyndun, he is the prince. Contav doesn't take his rank seriously and likes to mingle with the lower classes. Since queens are the leaders of Navuri, he is not the heir. Since the Queen and King are very busy, they have entrusted the finding of a proper wife to the Duchess. Contav is usually quiet, but still enjoys life to the fullest. He is very down to earth and modest.

Datin Tyfon, Dah-TEEN Ti-FON- General of the army. Datin trains soldiers and knights and leads them into war. He is also the queen's advisor in strategic situations. Datin is a very quiet man, but has a strong will and fights to the death.

Yksu Hexach, EEK-su Hek-SAHCH- Head of the Queen's Council. He has large amounts of magic which he wastes in useless spells. Nobody likes Yksu. He is bossy, arrogant, and competitive, but never wins at anything.

Kuni Henar, KOO-nee/KYU-nee Hee-NAR- She isn't considered important, but Kuni has many jobs. She is the Palace healer, bookkeeper, and mage. She is also one of the Queen's Council. Kuni constantly fights Yksu for status as most powerful mage of the realm. She is outgoing and slightly crazy, but learned and serious when called upon for help.

Loja Nimant, Loh-zhah Nee-MAWNT- Keeper of the gardens and the creatures living there. Everybody likes Loja for her kindness and cheerful attitude. She has an amazing connection with animals, allowing her to do her job very well.
